had this georgeous Sherman’s bta for awhile now maybe about a month or two and the past few days it hasn’t been doing well. Had a pair of clowns die from brooklynella aswell last night after trying to treat them (in qt of course) and since this weekend my bta hasn’t opened. I just tried feeding it a bit and seems to have opened a bit but I’ll show you guys a pic from before the weekend and one from right now . It’s been like tho for a while now and I really don’t want it to die please any advice appreciated . And yes it has moved itself since

And params are good and stable all my corals including my acros right now are growing like crazy

Actual Parms? Nems like dirtier water. What are you feeding? How often?
Mysis and brine shrimp mix feed the nem every few days and the tank gets fed everyday twice a day. Nitrates are about 20ppm checked last night.
Phosphate .008
Calcium 440
Mag 1420
Alk 10
Temp 77
I can’t remember if I’m missing something

Maybe he needs some new clowns. ;)

Params look good. What kind of lighting and do you still vodka dose?
And if yes did the nem act up before?

I wish I could get new clowns but gotta starve out the parasite for 6 weeks removing all fish :(
Lights are radions and yes still dosing vodka at about 1.6ml a day and didn’t seem to affect it at all before it just started happening this weekend it moved to the back of the rock and shriveled up. I did a water change after the fish died too so I don’t think it could be Amonia...it would have affected the rest of the tank by now. Otherwise nothing new I can think of. One odd thing though is I have 4 peppermint shrimp to help with any aiptasia that might get introduced but everytime the shrimp go bear it it closes completely like they bother it or something

Watch those shrimp might be ripping food from its mouth... other than that nothing stands out.

Yeah it seems unusual but when I feed it the shrimp are hiding they usually only come out when the lights are off or the pumps are off :/
