BTA propagation Sheers vs Scalpel/razor

Just want to hear people’s experince with propagating BTAs with either sheers or razor and what you think is best and why.

long sheers for me. i tried the razor and it wasn’t sharp enough to cut threw in one passing. I think a scalpel would work well too because they come really sharp
 
I've never used the sheers but I can say with confidence I use a 4" paint scraper blade and it cuts right through in one clean pass making min damage. I only use the blade once and throw out. Use new blade for each cut
