I have read numerous threads and seen pics contradicting what I am reading so I have to ask. Can BTA's be kept with other BTA's?

My opinion is yes but I am hoping from someone with more experience. The reason I say yes is we had a RBTA and added a Blue bubble tip on opposite side of tank.....clown hosts both....then rescued a rainbow....clown hosted all 3.....tonight I rescued another RBTA. Guess what....clown is now hosting all 4......so what I am seeing is him going from one to another mixing their chemicals....which leads me to think that should they get close at some point or even touch all SHOULD be well.....is this accurate? I have had multiple splits before but that is different.....I have also seen pics of a couple touching....but that could also have been pics of war.

Does anyone know?

Absolutely yes they can be kept together. Only very rarely will 2 not get along. You will likely be just fine with multiple bta's in one system.

I am interested to see this "blue" bta, I don't believe I have ever seen one before. It's unlikely to actually be a bta (e. quadricolor)

I agree, only rairly will you have issues keeping multiple E. quadricolor together. I've never had an issue.
