I got a rainbow bubble tip almost a month ago, it seems to be doing fairly well (as far as I can see)

my question is- is it normal for it to bubble up throughout the day and then close up when lights go off? As soon as the lights come on in the morning (7am) it opens back up and starts bubbling. It’s moved 3 times but has stayed where it’s at for about 2 weeks now. It takes food and seems happy? It’s my first bta though so I’m not sure if this is normal or not.

Took me over 2 years before my multiple anemone hosted my clowns. Could be today, could be never. Clowns do their own thing.

Waited 6 months for my ocellaris clowns to find my anemones, moved them to a new tank and dropped a maroon clown into the anemone tank, was loving the nems within 5 minutes lol

Yeah it’s not something I’m trying to force. It would be awesome if they did but they’re happy in their own little corner and my nem seems happy. That’s really the biggest thing I care about haha

I thought about putting them in an acclimation box together but I don’t want to stress them out if they’re happy

That's the one way I would try to force it. (I've tried pictures of anemones hosting clowns, adding other fish to try to coax them from their corner, even left "Finding Nemo" on repeat for 2 days lol) But putting them in an acclimation box together means moving the nem (stressful) and catching the fish (stressful but easier since they're always at the surface) and then you have to gently peel the anemone out of the box and place it and then it goes on a walkabout again lol all for something that's not going to work 100% of the time. You've got the right idea, if it happens great! If not, oh well lol

Yeah the anemone is in an awesome location where we can see it right now. I’d hate to stress it out for it to end up camping in the back where we can’t see it or the clowns if they’re hosting haha
