Is it “normal” for your bta to close all the way up once per day? and how often should I be feeding this guy?

pics from spring break (when I got him) to today, feeding every day LRS nano reef frenzy. I just feed him by feeding the fish and saving a larger chunk for him and using my fingers to put it in his tentacles, he takes it from there. Been a wonderful host for my sexy shrimp.

okay cool. was just making sure he’s doing good. he found a good spot after a day and is allowing my female clown to host him. seems to want to be fed every other to three days. he gets small when he’s hungry. thanks a lot!!Very normal. Feeding spans the spectrum of never feeding BTAs to those that feed them every day and everything in between. I would base it on your preferences, your nutrient levels and how well your particular BTA responds positively or negative to your feeding schedule.
I feed mine every day, it’s made huge bubbles. How long has he been settled? You wanna make sure he’s done moving before you start feeding him. Mine closes up almost 100% every night when the lights go off, nbd and I wouldn’t be worried.pics from spring break (when I got him) to today, feeding every day LRS nano reef frenzy.
