Hi everyone,

About 3 months ago, I was rearranging some rocks in my reef and didn't notice my BTA was behind one of the them and I accidently smashed it. It seemed pretty bad, the BTA was pretty much inside out, but after reading about some miraculous recovery I decided to put it on a quiet place and hoped it would get better. After a week, I noticed it had moved and attached itself back to a rock. Of course I was overjoyed but the thing is, before this accident the BTA was not that big, about 5 cm wide when fully opened, but after this accident, it came back super small, about 0.5 cm wide, as you can see in the picture. As I said, this happened 3 months ago, and it didn't grow much, if at all, since then. Is there anything I can do to help with its recovery, to help it grow back, like feeding something specific or do it more frequently?

To me, a BTA will go to where it wants to go.

If it headed for a low light area (for recovery) then leave it be, and spot feed it small food frozen particles, more often.

Good luck!!
