BTA retracted out of nowhere?

Once a day and not that much.. just enough for them to eat. I gave the nem a VERRRRYYY small piece of a silverside to eat.

If it’s A 40g system and I used close to 15g that’s about 37.5%.

With two water changes (maybe 3) of 10g each... you’d think that water would’ve diluted... BUT if he was dosing (I think he said 30ML a day!!!) of Alk and CA, that water would’ve been THICK!

I never intentionally feed my RBTAs. They do snag stuff that the fish miss. But really all they need is decent flow and good lighting. This one is practically reaching out of the tank to touch my kessils

Sweet nem!

However, the feeding didn’t cause it to retract like this.. my other BTAs are out and about in the other tanks..
