Have multiple types of BTA nems. Have had them all for quite some time. One of my rainbows appears to have randomly lost a tentacle a couple times in the last couple weeks? Any one else have experience with this? Didn't get a haircut in the wave maker.... just randomly dropped one...

Mine was doing that for about a month, changed some flow and light perameters and it's now growing new ones. It looked like it was going to die, I spot fed it once a week, and it's all good now

Nothing living in the tank that would be doing this? (Fish, invert, etc)

Nah, my clowns aren't even hosting it. Everyone else stays clear of them too.... definitely a good thought though.

Sometimes the flow might get them tangled and to the point where it is so tight it might fall off. I haven’t seen this with my bta but my ritteri does this. My clowns help untangle it or bite it off. Good luck.
