Hello All!
My friends BTA have shrunk insanely small within months. They were baseball sized months back. Tank is about a year old, weekly water changes, he runs 2 radion g5 pros. Im not a nem guy so i have no idea. any ideas?
They look normal, just insanely small

Im sorry pics arent the best

Ok, I am going to put all the questions here to make it easier for you since this isn't your tank.

- What's the stocking list? 2 snowflake eels

- How old is the tank? over a year

- are there any other corals or anemones that are in the tank, how are they doing?

- Does the person use tap or RO/DI water?

These are the questions that I have thought of now, but there may be more.

some kenya tree, a neon green toadstool leather and some mushrooms, they are all doing great

yes rodi

Has your friend measured PAR where the nems are located? Does he feed them? If so, what does he feed them? Any issues with cyano or diatoms in the tank?
i never measured his par. he would feed misis or cut up silversides

no cyano or diatoms

To be honest, I have no idea if it's a lighting issue, but it could be.

May I ask for water params?

When they do this, its often due to light is low in intensity. lack of water flow, lack of feeding and even elevated phosphates. Nothing to do with age of tank which looks established
