BTA splitting occurence

My Black widow split on me, I am curious if anyone had theirs split back to back? is that possible?

I've had a few nems split into thirds, is that what your seeing?

I’ve even had a nem split into 1/4ths. But after the split is complete the baby has never split. The mother always rips itself into multiple pieces.

I have only ever seen them split that fast with a stress event. Once for me was cold tank during a long power outage. I had some Roses back when they were really desirable and they would always split into three, but when they got cold and stressed, they split into thirds one day and then into thirds again about a week later. I lost a few of them, but like I said, it was stressful for them.

It split not so long ago, just wondering if it will split again after healing. Like how soon.

Most likely it will split again but there's no telling when. I have a rainbow bta that splits every few months. Same with my green bta. But my rose bta never splits. It's about a foot in diameter now and just keeps getting bigger. They are all in the same tank too.

That's not to say rose btas don't split much though, just this specific one doesn't seem to want too
