Bta splitting?

My bta developed a nice sized split in its side at the top where the tentacles are and it's been deflating and moving into the rocks. Is it splitting? I checked water parameters and everything is great. You can see the split at the top

Yeah, when I got it it was almost clear. I've been trying to nurse it back to health and it's been getting some of its color back
