Bta splitting?

Just wondering if anyone with more experience could tell me why my bubble tip developed this split where it's tentacles are. I checked water parameters and everything is good. You can see the split at the top

They do just literally tear themselves in half, it can happen very quickly, mine use to move a couple inches during a clone. That particular BTA looks like it's lost zooxanthellae hence the coloration, stubby tentacles, signs of chronic nutritional issues.
 
He could be splitting but I would start feeding him if you arent. He's really white which isn't his natural color

I got it this color but I'll free it more. Right now I'm using a supplement every other day thays suppose to feed it
 
The one you have is supposed to be green in the wild but they in multiple colors. His white appearance is from stress. If he is happy in your tank he should recover without any problems.
