My bta has always inflated its mouth like this to eat. However, today I noticed that there are distinct mouths on the anemone, each eating some of the food! I assume this means that the bta will split soon, but I have some questions.
Should I be feeding more or less food, more or less often? (I feed it a few mysis shrimp daily, and if it takes it it takes it, otherwise it just goes into the water column)
I read that sometimes anemones split when they’re stressed- does it splitting like this mean that it’s stressed, or do they do so randomly?
Is there anything else special I should be doing, or do I just let it do its thing?

FYI I’ve had this bta for around a year, and haven’t seen any issues (other than it losing its bubbles, but sadly I have no control over that)
