My BTA has stay in the same exact spot for a few months. I noticed this morning his foot has began to stretch out pretty far from where the center of it is. Just sharing for the sake of sharing.

Nice. They do that sometimes! Gotta stretch out to capture ALL the light beams :). Ive seen my btas stretch over 7 inchs away from where their foot is planted (lazy nem!).

Um if you dont mind me asking what kind of lighting is this BTA under? as well whats the feeding schedule?
it looks bleached and with those stubby tentacles its coming off like its starving/feeding off itself to survive.

you can easily get it back to where it should be, but please give some tank specifics. i'm happy to help as my tanks are dedicated to BTA's

I have mine under mh+t5. Ive also kept them under kessils+supplemental t5s. I dont feed my btas they do capture some food when i broadcast feed.

Oh! Also, if for whatever reason i am nursing a bleached nem ill target feed mysis twice a week till it gets its color back. I avoid larger food chunjs b/c it takes more energy to consume and ime bleached btas dont have very sticky tentacles, so larger food isnt always a great solution (nem may spit it out, or decompose inside the nem...)

I have the AI Prime LED. Once a week I drop it a piece of raw shrimp. I've done some reading and noticed that my lighting sequence needed to be adjusted as I was not providing enough light for the tank. I will take a picture of what it looks like now. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Will switch to this rather then raw shrimp chunks.
