BTA Think it still has a chance?

Received this BTA from a vendor. Was supposed to arrive yesterday, but got delayed by UPS for a day. Here's a photo of it in the shipping bag, in a bucket as I was acclimating it, and in a QT tank where I turned the flow and lights down. I've never had a problem with BTA's in the past, but never received one in this condition before. It's basically flattened out as the day has gone on. Just wondering if it's possible it's mouth will still close up? Or if it will start disintegrating?

Imo it looks like it still has a chance. Did it smell bad when you opened the bag?

It still has some color and is attached so I say leave it in qt with low lights for a bit. See what happens. Usually the only time that is “too late” is when it’s disintegrating.

The bag smelled like death when I opened it. It's not attached, it kind of rolls a bit, then flattens out like a pancake. Then repeats every once in a while.

All you can do is give it low flow, and a stable environment. Some people do dips specific for super unhappy nems but I don’t have any experience in that

Doesn’t look great but I would just leave it be and see what happens. If it starts melting, that’s it.

Aw poor thing. Im sorry. Hopefully you can get a refund or replacement. That sucks.
