BTA unhappy after transfer

I transferred tanks a few days ago. I have 4 BTAs who were very happy in my previous, 2 year old tank. I went for it and just transferred everything over. I under estimated just how VERY dirty my previous tank was. It was disgusting to clean out. Well, I think my nems loved the dirty tank. Now they are in a very clean tank with new sand (all the same rock though)
So, they aren’t happy looking. The 2 smaller ones are shriveled up. The 2 larger ones are just moody doing weird things. Can anyone recommend anything I can do to help them? Or do I just have to cross my fingers and hope they adjust to the cleaner environment? I’m sure eventually everything will stable out to suit their preference. Thanks for any help!

It would have been wise to match parameters as much as possible.

If you didnt do that, you at very least want to acclamate properly which sounds like you didnt do either.

Ensure your parameters are in an acceptable range and keep it as stable as possible and cross your fingers is about all that can be done.

Use this as a lesson.
