Thanks Justin!

It's impossible to take a top down with all the lights on because of the bulb reflection. I even tried to barely stick the viewer under the water but the corals are just too close.

@bubbaque can you go over your CO2 setup? I am thinking about switching over and am just seeing what everyone is using.

I am sure yours does. I seen your pics you posted recently.

do you mean the co2 scrubber or calcium reactor?

Looks great Bubba! I can send you some of my angels to take care of that zoa problem you have if you want? [emoji16]
lol. I think they will turn into a problem as I’ve noticed them popping up places I didn’t put them. I blame my urchin wearing them all over.

Sorry, your calcium reactor setup.
I use a reef octopus dual chamber reactor, carbon doser regulator and a Master Flex peristaltic pump. My ph and effluent is rock solid and never moves. Before I bought the peristaltic pump I was always having to adjust my flow as it would slow down after a few days. I thought it was the biggest pain and almost regretted having the calcium reactor. Buying that pump is the best thing I did.

This is a long thread and I didn’t want to go back and look but just curious what par range do you keep the acros in?? Your corals look BEAUTIFUL!! Good job!! [emoji1319][emoji1319][emoji1319]

What did removing the cover do?
Under the UV leds you will start noticing that the strip is all burnt and it prevents the light from getting through. I tried to drill holes where mine were burnt but the cover was so brittle it just broke, so I removed them.

Thanks for the compliment!

Most of my corals are in 350 -450 par.

Man. I can’t even believe they sell that. It is the worst. So thin and runny.
You used it before?

Yes I used it only once before and couldn’t understand how they sell it and people find it even usable. It was very very watery. I’m Shocked to hear others in this thread regularly use it also.

Now I’m wondering if I got a bottle from a bad batch.

Couple updates on some frags.

BC Bonfire looks like it's about to sprout some branches.

BC Space laser. I am starting to get get some green and blue near the base Adam mentioned but it's hard to pick up on camera.

Lookin good @bubbaque

Do you tend to put all your new frags on tiles first and grow them out a bit before placing them in your display?

Always love your pics!

Thanks!

My display tank is overcrowded with coral. Most of them are already encrusting into each other. I use the tiles in frag tanks as just another place to grow coral. I actually like the tiles better than the display as I can pick the corals up and get a better look at the colors.
