I finally believe I have the ORA Pearlberry. He said he has had his colony for more than 10 years and said it is the true ORA Pearlberry.

And a small piece of a coral that he said he wanted to see how it would do in my tank. It is orange to the eye.

Gilligan is another I struggle to take a good pic with since I changed cameras, so I avoid pics, lol.

Pearlberry I gave it too much light at first so it lightened up. I left it there to long wanting it to adjust but it didn’t. I finally moved it to lower light about a month ago to let it darken back up.

I got it from @brofraggingstein. He has a lot of the old school corals like the original purple monster, Ora pearlberry and 30k lokani. You might have even seen his massive Oregon tort posted around. Might be the largest one around.

That little orange one I lost a while ago when I had my tank issue. I also got it from @brofraggingstein.

I got my flavor parade from AV99 too. At first they looked like duds. The more white they get from my LEDs, I’m starting to get pink in the tips. So nice.

I got my flavor parade from AV99 too. At first they looked like duds. The more white they get from my LEDs, I’m starting to get pink in the tips. So nice.

I only had it a few weeks so I’m excited to see it develop. Do you have a pic of yours?

I hope everybody is getting more than 1 cm per year. That seems really slow to me.

That's actually very old BS. Lots of people think that.. In the wild corals grow amazingly fast, far faster than in our tanks ever could. There's some great timelapse footage from David Attenboroughs GBR documentary.

Yes, mine is under halides. Your frag looks very nice! It takes some time to acclimate and you are off to a great start.
