What’s your favorite tenuis that is blue base with pink polyps?

Hmmm, I can't think of a tenuis like that off the top of my head. There probably isn't many options to choose from.

There must be something corroding somewhere but I have no idea where. I don't worry about it too much as I did a triton icp test about a year ago and I also had tin at that time. I see my potassium is low so I will raise it up slowly.

I agree that is likely insignificant tin wise. First off the test cant detect what form it's in and also regardless most people dont see issues (if at all) at less than 30 ug/l, based on my research. Some people had 90 ug/l + with no effects.

I had like 30 ug/l and it was from vortech wetside magnet cracked/rusting. It was a super small crack. I saw no effects in my tank and it naturally went down on it's own after I replaced the wetside (I think my chaeto sucked up most of the tin). I think I still have a little but forget.

In addition to rusting it's been theorized that tin can leach from the glass in some aquariums due to the "floating glass" process as well as from plasticizers in PVC tubing, I think flex is more likely to do this vs standard hard tube but just going off memory here.

Yes that would be an insane orange coral! That is why I never buy anything that is shown to be under all blues. Corals look so misleading under actinics. Even if you say "I only view my tank under actinics" it doesn't look the same as a pic taken under actinics because the orange gel filter needed to take pics shifts the colors so much. You have a yellow coral, well now it's orange, pink coral is now red and if you have a red coral, my god does it look insane.

Thanks for the insight on the tin. I did have the two little fishies algae clip crack open and start rusting but besides that I have no idea where it's coming from. I will still do the occasional water change to help dilute any possible issues.

Yea, I agree. Or if I do buy something under all blues it's because I've already seen it elsewhere under normal lighting.

This is the acro I thought it was, which I have almost bought frags of on Ebay a few times but never did for several reasons. If it's actually orange thatd epic but it's probably just yellow like your after party.

I dont because I am terrible with pictures as you know. But I will try my best to get you one. Mine is over a 4" tile and I will soon need to look for more real estate.

I moved from under t5's to radions and it's shifting colors to more orange now.

Wow that thing has grown a lot. Very nice. It's a stunning piece. Idk if it's the video but mine seems more red. Not near the growth you have though

Mine was way more red also before I moved it to under the radions or maybe it’s just turning more orange as it’s slowly maturing. I have been slowly moving all the corals I love to the radion tank, lol.

Everything is looking awesome. I would not know what to single out first.

About the Radions. I had them but was not happy with the periodic unprogramming that kept happening. Also the shading from puck layout. I switched when I noticed that the coral in my sump looked better. I had a cheap SB Reeflight down there. Switched out everything. It has worked for me.

But lights are a small part of the equation. I think that husbandry, elements, nutrients, are all more important. Which I am sure is why your corals are more stunning and more attractive then other reefs with the same lights.
I think the reefer is more important the the lights.
