Hello,

Found some on the LR and I removed the LR and now sitting on a container. How do I get rid of these BA and Aiptasia so I can put back the LR on the tank?

Thanks!

Yes, to dry it out but would like to wash it out too with vinegar and not sure if that will be sufficient.

If you want to eradicate everything do peroxide or bleach. Just take more time to strip away that stuff. I wouldn't put in that much effort for a rock.

Given that the rocks will rest for another week after peroxide or bleach treatment. Will peroxide or bleach harm any livestock once I put back into the tank?

yea bleach is a bad idea. It kills bacteria and invers and is just not good in a tank.. Peroxide is safer. Kill the aptasia with aptasia x or one of those, if its out of the tank your better off. The aptasia will sometimes spew spores when you try yo kill them. so koll the aptasia, scrub the algae and rinse WELL with ro or salt water.

The rocks has been out in the tank for a week. I will give a good scrub with Ro/di then probably white vinegar bath then cure it for a week or two, would this work?
Thanks!

So its dry right now? or still wet? Vinegar wont do any thing for you really.

yea scrub rinse rinse again, it could be longer than two weeks as you are going to have to let it cycle again. easy to to in a bucket with a powerhead. its gonna have a lot of dieoff so let it take its time.
I recently did a similar experiment, dry used sand and rocks, old tank water. I used my nose te let me know when it was done. @two weeks is stank like hell, (and the tests were off the charts), at three weeks it didnt stink and the numbers were almost normal, 4 weeks it was ready for fish. But was still in the bucket.:D

Injecting boiling water would probably work if the Aiptasia is still in the water. I am already drying out the rocks.
