Bubble algae disappeared -- why?

I inherited a LR with mushrooms and bubble algae on it and put it in my Evo. I was monitoring the algae for potential growth issues...and then noticed one day that it had disappeared overnight. My CUC consists of a peppermint shrimp, halloween hermit, and "about" four (they are breeding) trochus snails. Could something have eaten the alage?

If it disappeared that quickly then I would guess yes, something ate it. Hopefully they keep doing so!

Huh. And I thought nothing ate bubble algae...

My money's on the hermit. I've seen it snacking on all sorts of nuisance alage.
