Got a decent ammount of bubble algae coating my rocks and some of the back wall. Manually removing helps with all the clusters, but there are so many littler ones inside of crevices and even coral. Looking into getting some emerald crabs since my last one died, would 2 maybe even 3 be too much for 25 gallons? Thanks!

In my Observation Emerald Crabs can’t eat the Bubble Algae after it gets a little size to it. They can only eat the Buds and leftover base, after manually removing them. I taped a plastic knife on my 3/8” Lee’s Rigid Tube, picked them off and sucked them into a Filter Sock in my Sump.

Another vote for Pithos. I ordered mine from reef cleaners. I had some bubble algae that came over when I upgraded. I went from a 55 to a 150. I ordered three. The crabs have been in my tank for about two weeks. No sign of bubble algae presently.
