Hello - I got some frags at a swap and a they have bubble algae on them. I take them out of the tank and remove it and it just grows back. They have been in the tank for two months / still on frag rack, what should I do? I don't see an easy way to take the zoas off the plug...Use a hack saw and cut off half? I promise to wear protective gear due to toxins! Thank you all for your time

I believe A hydrogen peroxide dip will take care of it and I believe it’s safe on zoas.

thank you. i've dipped other zoas in H.P but didn't even think about it for this - Has anyone else tried for bubble algae? will it not grow back? thank you

Hydrogen peroxide will kill the algae just remove it manually and dip in hydrogen peroxide and it shouldn’t return

In my experience it kills it dead and gives you a perfectly white drag plug lol
