Bubble algae removal tool

Just a silly post about a tool that I found has been helpful for removing hard to reach bubble algae.

It's a sharp hemostat that is used for vasectomies.


It can get into the crevasses in the rock and also has a good grip so won't let go. I've found it very helpful.

I use a dental pick with a flattened tip.
 
I taped a Stainless Steel Knife to Lee’s Rigid Tubing attached to a Syphon Hose. Went to a Fine Filter Sock, in the sump, Which I pulled and cleaned afterwards. Used Emerald Crabs for the small Bubble Algae and the Buds.
