Bubble algae, super sized

I've more or less given up trying to rid my mostly acropora tank of bubble algae. On occasion, some grow quite large. This one, which I was able to remove without it exploding, developed it's own coralline algae! It's even kind of pretty.

That's a big one! Snorkeling off of Key Biscayne last year my son and I were finding baseball sized bubble algae. I'm sure it's probably a different variety, but still it was pretty crazy.
 
My word, that’s biggest one I’ve seen. I wonder how the emerald crabs or sea urchin would react if they saw a bubble algae that big??
