Hi all,

I've got the bubble algae plague going on in my tank.

I've started Vibrant dosing every 3 days starting last week.

Can I get some recommendations on a tool to physically remove them from the rocks? Unfortunately I can't pull the rocks out of the tank, so I need to look at a in-place solution.

I know they're sensitive to popping, I tried using my fingers (nail) but it's not easy. Am I looking for dentistry equipment? I can do a syphon and scrap method like it was a dental cleaning.

How do you manually remove the bubbles? Or do I just leave them and let Vibrant do its magic?

Thanks everyone!
J.

I have vibrant on a dosing pump set for the nuisance algae dose, but split daily.

I havent seen any difference in 2 weeks in my ulva algae, in fact it's actually gotten worse. Nitrates are 0.1 and phosphates are undetectable. I'm gonna toss the stuff and just buy Fluconazole. Vibrant is snake oil. Expensive snake oil...

As far as bubble algae, I use a combination of emerald crabs and pulling the bubbles off with tweezers.
