On my snail aswell?Should be fine. Yes, that was bubble algae. If you see any, try to get it out quickly. When it spreads, it gets harder to control.

I take my snails out occasionally and give them a wipe with a hydrogen peroxide wetted (not soaked) paper towel. Just taking care not to touch their foot.

You can try a pitho crab. Some eat bubble algae and I've never seen them eat coral. Emeralds on the other hand... Depends. Some come in taste testing everything, others stick to the bubble algae.
