Bubble algae

Randy, or anyone who knows ;

Awhile back when I was stalking the pages I could have sworn I saw a reference to a bubble algae chemical formula that gets sprayed on it to get rid of it. Any idea what I'm talking about?

No it wasn't hydrogen peroxide, it was a mixture of different chemicals

A bunch of different chemicals sounds kind of bad IMO. Be careful.

Pretty sure someone suggested kalk paste a while back. I never tried it tho.

Are you talking about in tank or our of the tank?

I burned the heck out of my bubble algae using a very thick Kalk paste. Made it so thick that once turned back on, my flow didn't move it-lol. 24hrs later I siphoned it all out. Bubble algae was gone!

I think you are talking about the DSR guy who does the 10% sodium hydroxide sprayed on the bubble algae? If you did to it let me know, I haven't been brave enough to try it out
