Bothers some people others don't mind. If you decide to take care of it make sure you don't pop them underwater or spores will spread everywhere. Take the rock out carefully and scrub it off.

+1 don’t pop them in the tank if you can help it but try to Remove the rock and clean them off. Get an emerald crab to get any you can’t see!

Valonia. I've read differing opinions on popping them (animals that do eat them, such as some crabs, presumably pop them in the process of eating them) - don't because it can release spores, do because that's what bubble algae eating animals do . . . I would say remove what you can and pop what you can't.

The other option is fluconazole at 4x the Bryopsis dose, which works well but can take a while (for me, over a month as it gradually died off) . . . I was fine for months, then a few came back months later, and now I'm removing them if I can and popping what I can't. I figure that if popping them really does cause utter chaos, then I can redose with fluconazole.

I didn't go the emerald crab route as I've read that they aren't completely safe.

Some fish might be natural predators (? sailfin tangs or rabbitfish), but I don't have the tank size for that.

Good luck!
