Has anyone had luck getting rid of Bubble Algae with GFO? I am switching to a larger system and the smaller tank I will be taking down is overrun with the crap. I really don't want to use chemicals or play scientist. Also really do not feel like manually pulling each cell off of it all.

Thanks!

Vibrant. I am on the 5th week now and coupled with manual removal it is 90% gone. Be careful with dosage though. It dropped my NO3 and PO4 down and dinos kicked in. I raised my nutrients and dinos are gone. Also my stylophora doesnt seem to happy. Other than that it is good to go

Can you tell me some about vibrant?

Post #10 in my build thread has the dosing regimen I used. I would just say, start out with a low dose and ramp up slowly. You don't want to shock your tank. It will take a couple months, but it works.

Liquid Vibrant!!

Stop using Vibrant peeps !!!
Do some research online and find out how this product is not doing what it's advertised to do.
Same as the rest of the products from the same company ... UWC

Waste of money

GFO does nothing for Bubble Algae. I too had success with Vibrant.

+1

I’ve had bubble algae for years. Doesn’t matter how clean you strip your water....So, I started dosing Vibrant and I am very optimistic based on all the positive reviews of it curing the dreaded bubble.
