I've noticed this for some time now... there are alot more through the tank, and getting bigger it seems. Pretty sure is bubble algae, but would like confirmation before buying 1 or 2 emerald crabs. Thanks.

Yeah. I've been looking into that too. I do think I'll still grab at least 1 emerald crab.

I can't speak for Vibrant on bubble algae, but I can speak for it on hair algae! If you go that route, I always measure it out and slowly pour in a high-flow area. Corals have done fine.

I've dealt with bubble algae in the past and I hated it! I hope I never have it again, but if I do, I would definitely try the Vibrant first. I'm just using more of a maintenance dose now on my tank.

Vibrant is even SLOWLY killing off my gha. Its gonna take awhile at two doses per week though. Nothing good happens fast. Slow and steady.

I got a ruby mithrax from reefcleaners that immediately went to town on my bubble algae. They’ll even refund the cost if they don’t eat bubble algae (but they do IME).

Vibrant is a good option, keep in mind if you have chaeto in sump - Vibrant kills that too.
