Bubble algae?

What kind of algae is this? Never gotten this before. They are like little brown sacks resting on the sand bed. I just tested this past weekend and my tank is doing well and inside healthy parameters.

and the “little sacks” like air bubbles in the algae? Is it a reddish brown or just brown?

Also if you can post your actual Water parameters.

This is incredibly annoying because the video shows it moving etc but they are like little clear/red sacks

I see diatoms and possible dino. Simply siphon up and see if it returns. Seems like tank is fairly new and this will happen as part of cycle

Probably not bubble algae they look like pretty green pearls that you have to remove and they are not worth anything! Possibly diatoms.

Ive seen diatoms but never like a bubble sack. Its almost like larve or eggs. The tank is about 2 months old

I think they are dinoflagellates (gambierdiscus) brown slime algae photo from the book Algae A Problem Solver Guide by Julian Sprung.

Looks like dinos. How old is your tank? Sometimes the best remedy for them is keep up with your WC and other maintenance and just wait them out. Also, love your name/image...I cannot wait to celebrate the title!

Thanks man! You’re the first to notice! The tank is about 3 months running now. I do water changes and honestly its been going down. I’ll clean more and keep waiting. Is there such a thing as too many water changes?

Don't want to wait them out but rather go to a blackout and apply 1ml of peroxide per 10 gals of water at night and do not feed coral feed or NoPox to the tank. Additionally, loosen up the dino with a turkey baster and siphon or net it daily and discard to the loose dino.

There's always too much of a good thing. I would continue to do what you are doing and monitor it. Instead of saying "wait it out", I should have said "wait until you know for sure". There are different types dinos, some respond better to different methods. You might read up a bit on the Vibrant threads, as that tends to work well. That being said, what you are doing plus a bit more time of your tank maturing can get rid of it as well.
