Hi everyone,

Happy Reefing. Been a while since I posted. All is reasonably well with the tank. Going on 3 years now. Question:

Started to notice a few bubble algae since I bought a frag a while ago. Never had bubble before this, but anyway...its not on the rocks but I've noticed a clump here and there on the return pipe as well as the powerhead. I removed the head and scrubbed and a few days later...its mad. I got a new cannister filter so my pipes are all new (including new bacteria and ceramics that came with the cannister). Do I let the bubble grow a bit until they are big enough to manually remove while I'm doing my maintenence? Or soak the mf in something?

Also I noticed this almost yellowish/copperish tint in a part of the sand bed. Obviously hard to ID in a pic, just wanted to get a few peoples perspectives.

Tank water:
1.026
Temp 77
Nitrate 1 (aquaforest)
Ca 600 (wahhh I dosed this when I didn't need to lol)
Mg 1350
Dkh 10.2
