I've only had my SRO2000INT since Christmas but I have noticed that it likes to start overflowing from time to time with no chemicals or additives being added to the tank. I've come to the conclusion that about once a month, or when it starts overflowing and skimming poorly/sporadically, that the air intake needs to be cleaned out because it gets clogged. I've tried to combat this by pouring RO water down the air intake tube about once a week but that hasn't seemed to help at all. So I have to pull the intake port off and clean out the salt and whatever else is clogging the air intake. I snapped a few photos for everyone to see what I am talking about. Luckily this is cleaned very easily by just unscrewing the intake port and cleaning with a brush and/or sharp pointed object.
Here is the view of the build up at about the 9 o'clock position.
Here is a closeup of the debris at the 12 o'clock position
And here is a mod that I made out of a 1.5" pvc "T" that allows the output of the biopellet reactor to go directly to the input of the skimmer.
