Today I noticed my new shrimp was missing and then I saw an antennae sticking out of my bubble coral. After a few minutes the coral spit out a little piece of it's exoskeleton but other than that the shrimp must have been completely eaten, I am really bummed out since that shrimp was expensive and new to my tank. Do I have to fear my bubble coral eating future inhabitants??

That’s very odd. Are you sure it wasn’t a molt of the cleaner shrimp

I’ve found the molt many times in my tank and thought ugh my shrimp is gone. Keep looking they will hide sometimes during and just after a molt.

I’ve had a bubble coral eat several inverts and a couple of fish.
I had several specimens in the past and never any issues but the most recent one seems to have been a real killer.
