Bubble coral doesn't look right

Hi all
I purchased this bubble coral about 4 months ago (the other half fell in love with it)
Ever since I've had it in my tank it opens up everyday without fail but it looks like this. All pictures I've seen of bubble coral don't seem to look like this? Is there something wrong?
Sorry if this is a stupid question but I'm a newbie
