Pretty sure its dying, have had it for 3 months and recently it started to not inflate anymore. I moved it to a different spot of the tank and its still not having any luck. All tank parameters are stable and within the same ranges they have been. I did recently add an elegance coral that had some issues so moved it around the tank. Anything I can do to get this to recover?

Did the issue in regards to the elegance have anything to do with it getting stung ??? And please list all your parameters including lighting par / schedule .

No the elegance has always been far away from any other corals. It may have gotten stung at the store before I got it, but never in my tank. Running a kessil 160 on an adjusted tuna blue schedule from 9:30 am to 9:30 pm. bout 60% power max. Tank is fluval 13.5 so not a lot of room for light differences. No way to read par sorry.

ammonia 0

nitrates between 5-10ppm
phosphate .25 ppm
Ph 8.2
cal 445 ppm
mag 1345 ppm
salinity 1.026

this is all I have tests for, using fluval/hagen master test kit. Use 3 different methods for salinity.

So what kind of bubble coral is it and did you move before elegance moved in or after? Why did you feel the need to move 'bubble coral',

I moved it because it was starting to have issues and no longer inflating. I don't know what kind of bubble coral it is. I moved it at the same time as the elegance because the elegance wasnt happy where it was.

How are the other coral looking ? Also look for any bugs or critters around it ? Without stressing it out more you might consider dipping it and settling it on a small flat rock while it recovers as there might be something in the sand going after it

I think I see some brown slime, which is characteristic of brown jelly disease. You’ll want to pull out the infected coral and make sure the slime doesn’t spread throughout the tank.

Everything else is happy and normal. Zoa's sprouted 2 heads recently, paly also popping a head now. I am having a slight cyano outbreak but I will get something to deal with that tomorrow.
Have you treated the tank with anything lately or added straight RO to top off the tank directly into the top of this tank ???

Good call !! Could be that . I would definitely check out your new elegance for similar issue

I have an ATO R/o bottle that tops off as it evaporates, but that has never changed anything as far as I know. I don't add anything other than what I feed and trace elements once monthly for water change

I have added the best pictures I can manage with my phone. I can pull out the mirrorless camera if you think better pictures might help diagnose if this is bjd or not.

The elegance def has something brown on it, but it doesnt look like jelly as far as I can tell.
My guess is if the elegance has the same brown on it that it passed it on to the bubble coral . Did you inspect it and dip it when you got it ? I would remove both and take them out of the tank if you can and put them in a quarantine tank until your sure of what you have . In all my years luckily I’ve never personally experienced bdj Sofia me to know how and if it starts out like this I can’t help you . Do you have a lfs near by that deals in coral for you to show ? Or you may want to repost on this thread with the title what is this or is this bdj? Welcome. I just know they tell you to increase flow , iodine dips and frag off the good remaining parts of the coral . But firs you should confirm that’s what you have . Sorry that’s about all I can tell you

I appreciate the advice and your help. I had reached out to vetteguy previously about my elegance coral and he suggested I move it somewhere with more light which is how I got to this situation in the first place. I did dip the elegance with koral MD before putting it into the DT. I will order an iodine solution tonight as well and attempt to dip the bubble in that.
