Bubble Coral Question

Hello all, I've had this Bubble coral for a few months now and recently noticed this little weird spot in the bubbles.. At first I thought maybe it was part of the skeleton, but it's squishy when I touched it, I have no idea what it could be. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking too, but this is my first bubble so wanted to be safe.
