Bubble coral turned from translucent white to non-translucent pearl colored

whats going on? This bubble coral thankfully has not deflated once in the past 3 months, it’s healthy as hell, and it’s doing great! Just wondering why it changed from clear white to dirty pearl? (In the pic is what it looks like, don’t mind the two clownfish in it lol)

It could of been bleeched out before. When I first started out,I saw a lot of trachy's that looked like translucent opals. I thought they were suppose to look like that,till I found out they were bleeched out.

How long ago was the bubble coral acquired? If it was only added to the tank 3 months ago it's possible that it was bleached (clear white) and has now regrown its symbiotic algae (dirty pearl). Alternatively, it may have simply shifted it's coloration and symbiotic algae concentration as an adaptation to the lighting and water chemistry conditions of your tank

I got it back in August, my tank is 100 gallons and fully cycled, all water parameters are stable too, but that is extremely good to know! That makes a lot of sense now!
