Bubble Gum Digi - Poor Polyp extension

Hey guys

I have 2 Bubble Gum Digis in my tank.
However, the polyp extension is pretty poor and I like the fluffy bubble gum look.

All my other Montis are pretty much perfect (Star Wars and green Digi) Its only the bubble gum…

All other SPS are totally ok and PE is good.

it is in the tank kinda from the start..
flow is pretty strong for all the acros though..
but yeah the other montis are good thats what is weird

It’s got nice coloration but I agree the PE is meh. NO3 numbers could be telling or it looks like it’s at the top of your tank so maybe too much light.

I have the same exact issue and have tried everything the last 2 yrs. All my other sps have have great PE except the bubble gum digi. I have a friend same frag different tank. He has great PE. Only thing we had different that was noticeable was I had a flame angel. He had no angels. I didnt want to get rid of my flame so I lived with it. I got many people that also agree its the angel. Let me know if you find a solution . Take the angel out and see what happens after a month. I would love to hear your results. Good luck.

I saw an Angel fish.

Yes I have an angel but I never saw it pick on any corals yet. The other montis have great PE so I dont understand it.
I will check no3 levels today and check if thats maybe an issue.

Yeah its on top i mean, the 1/3 but the radion isnt really heavy intense.
Well, maybe I could check if I place one on the bottom…

will test no3 today to see..
