I'd like some input on bubbles in silicone.
I am looking to purchase a rimless Marinland 60 gal cube and have the option between two tanks. I'd like to know which of the two I should buy.
Tank one:
No pics. Has a few small bubbles between the glass in the top two inches on one side, one 1/8" bubble at the outside edge between the glass low on the same joint, and a few small bubbles at the outside edge between the glass on a bottom seam (over about two inches). The side panes are also not quite in alignment so there is a fair amount of silicone on the outside of the tank.
Tank two:
All panes are in perfect alignment, the silicone work is very neat with none leaking to the outside. But it has a single larger bubble on a bottom joint, between the glass on the INSIDE edge. The bubble is approximately 1/3 the thickness of the glass.
So which tank to buy? I'm leaning towards tank two, but the size of that bubble has me concerned.
