Bubble in tank seam!!!!!

I have a bubble in the bottom front seam is this something I should be alarmed!?!
The company that set up the tank said it's normal please help!!!!

Is it a custom tank? It's definately not normal for there to be that large of a bubble in a seam especially a bottom one but I'm by no means a glass expert

I always thought bubbles in seams was bad. But when the company that set up her tank told her its normal. Made me think twice, you guys definitely know more than I do.

That type of bubble is common in less than professionally made aquariums. there seems to excess silicon throughout that panel. I dont think that bubble will be the only problem, or the start of problems. It looks from the pictures that this is a get what you pay for quality tank. I don't understand how people buy used less than excellent aquariums then spend many many thousands of dollars on equipment and live stock. if this tank decides to leak, all money time effort animals and household are lost, dead, and destroyed. The Item holding the water should be carefully thought of and invested in. Good luck with what appears to be a sub par aquarium/glass box that might hold water. Sorry for being so stern and blunt, but think hard on this while you still can.

It’s a used tank.
You can’t blame anybody any more at this time, warranty all void.
It’s up to the owner now to continue with this tank yes or no!!

But I can tell you this, I have seen two tanks over the years from PA with a bubble in it that they warrant cause they were bought new.

Secondly who’s is this company that says it perfectly fine to set this tank up.
It’s like selling someone a car with a faulty airbag and saying just don’t get in a wreck and all is good :mad:

All right the bubble is in the excess. I seal between the glass looks fine to me . Just my OP

I agree about the cost of livestock vs. the price of a tank. Anytime I buy a used tank it HAS to be tempered glass and most importantly I spend most of my time checking the seal. when you have 3000 in corals spending an extra 300 is a drop in the bucket....or you might start seeing a drop on the floor!

Hey Ben,

sorry for the late response. Friend is not wanting to disclose the name of company. Company has said they agree to give a refund. Found a few more faulty spots that has caused leaks and damages to the house.
Waiting on pick up and refund at the moment.
