Hi guys,
in my 215g tank, I installed a BK Deluxe 250. And it's been working for a couple of months.
The only thing I don't like very much about this skimmer is the backflow, if left as recommended Royal should be half submerged. This, however, involves a loud noise from the water runoff.
To solve the problem I completely immersed the backflow in water.
I found that now I have to close the gyroscope almost completely to make the foam coagulate at the same level as before, with the same pump power (40W).
Could this make the skimmer unstable?
I thought that by completely immersing the tube in water it creates a pressure on the outlet. So maybe I should make a hole on the white curve to get some air.
