I know this is an old post. I just purchased a 300 ext skimmer. The directions are a little hard to figure out. "We do not recommend any gluing of the tubes". Did you glue your drain plumbing from the skimmer to the sump?

I received an answer from Royal Exclusiv today. The external piping must be glued. Makes sense.
