unfortunately i am the idiot that bought this skimmer. It arrived with a cracked lid and a bad pump. This seller has gone into hiding on me and will not respond to my request to return the skimmer.

That really sucks. Hopefully you paypal'd them and not friends and family. The first red flag should have been the pictures. I know the skimmer is dirty and maybe it just came out of the tank but look past the skimmer and one can see just how dirty a person can be...

Yes you are right the pictures did look bad but I thought I could clean it up. There was no mention of any damage and the seller said they had rebuilt the pump. I should have known better. I used PayPal purchase protection so I will get my money back one way or the other. I just hate getting ripped off. I don't treat people that way and don't appreciate it when someone deceives me like this.
