Bubble level ok?

is this about where bubble level should be on a protine skimmer?

It looks just fine. It is up to you whether you prefer to skim wet or dry and adjust accordingly.

What is wet or dry difference sorry never had a skimmer

Wet means you take out more nutrients but at the cost of also removing more water.....your bubble level will be higher.
Dry means you remove fewer nutrients and also less water....your bubble level would be lower.
 
And you tell if it's "wet" or "dry" by the color of the skimmate. Wet looks like weak tea, while dry looks like Starbucks' black coffee. :D
 
If your changing socks and Putting your hands in the tank you may have to adjust if you run wet because you might over flow.. just keep eyes on it.. dryer is safer if you don’t wanna check so often

What model skimmer is that? It looks really good for a smaller tank.
