Bubble magnus curve d8 and d9

the bubble magnus curve d8 and d9 are on sale right now on a website and I was wondering what your opinion on them is? I am new to skimmers and need one for my 120 gallon build.

I use a Curve 7 for a 600 litre system (180 gallon) and it does a fine job.

Does yours have the dc pump or the ac pump?
