Just wondering if anyone has modified their waterbox peninsula sump to accommodate a bubble magnus roller filter... Or really other roller filters for that matter.

I'm looking at possibly cutting out the 4" filters and baffles to see if I can squeeze in a roller filter in that area. Couldn't find the "footprint" dimensions of the BM ARF1 anywhere online so hoping someone who has one can chime in with that info. From the pictures I've seen, I estimate the footprint to be about 8x9" which might fit in a 4x4" filter sock configuration.

Since I live so close to Seaside Aquatics, I went over there and measured the footprint myself. The medium sized 6" BM roller filter measures approximately 7.5" x 10". Fortunately, this will barely clear the WB peninsula 6026 filter sump area which is about 8.5" x 10.5". Of course this is with the 4 x 4" socks removed. Another thing to make this work is that the drain line will have to be routed into the roller filter which is not that big of a deal. I'll update this thread once I do this.

sorry I know this is a relatively old thread, but I wonder if you managed to use the roller filter in your 6026 sump?
