Bubble magnus skimmer - loud

I got a bubble magus C-3 protein skimmer as part of a 40 gallon breeder system buy.
The skimmer is loud - specifically at the hose that is pulling in air I - I have no manual to this skimmer either

Not sure how to do it, but an air silencer would help. Most likely someone on here knows how to diy one.

Might try to make a silencer out of a pill bottle. Air tube through the bottom and two holes drilled in the lid of the bottle
