For anyone that has this doser , do you have to calibrate?

Calibrate is not something that you can do per se'. What you should do is calculate the actual volume dosed based on your chosen volume and adjust the amount to dose in the setup based on the actual amount dosed. In other words, if you chose 40 ml to dose but the actual amount dosed is 45ml you will need to adjust down the settings till you get the desired actual dosed amount of 40ml. A graduated cylinder is indispensable for this.
